February Product Updates

Here's what our Product team was up to in February:

Grow

  • Upsell all line items at checkout: Checkout Upsell now allows customers to upgrade all order items to subscriptions in one click. This update improves visibility on mobile and highlights potential savings.
  • New and improved Subscription Widget now available for all Shopify stores: All stores now have access to the new Subscription Widget along with base analytics to track performance. With this update, you will notice that settings for this feature are now located within Recharge.

Retain

  • Cancellation Prevention for stores on the Standard Plan:  All stores on Recharge’s Standard Plan now have access to limited Cancellation Prevention functionality. Brands can now create unique win back and churn mitigation strategies to improve retention.
  • Rewards on one-time purchases - general release: It is now possible to Reward customers with credits on checkouts containing only one-time purchases. Give credits on one-time purchases to incentivize repeat buying, or make credits subscription-only to provide more motivation to convert to a subscriber.
  • Add previously churned customers to Win Back drip campaigns: Customize the span of time you want to cover and re-engage past customers in your Win Back efforts. This enhancement broadens your reach and maximizes your revenue opportunity by allowing you to customize

Core Features

  • "Credit - Accounts" export now available in the Export Builder: You can now export “Credit - Accounts” to see a comprehensive summary of all credit transactions applied to customer accounts. Use this export to monitor credit activities, the types of credits being issued, and review account balances.
  • The 'Duplicate' flow action has moved locations: The 'Duplicate' flow action has moved from the flow list view to directly in your flow canvas. You can now duplicate existing flows without navigating back to your flow list.
  • Upcoming changes to the “Create order only if inventory is available” order processing setting: Starting March 6 2025, we will begin rolling out optimizations to how inventory is handled for one-time products, as well as product incentives and free gifts added through Recharge Subscription Experiences.
  • Upcoming changes to the ‘Create order always (do not check for inventory, and do not reduce inventory)’ order processing setting: On March 6 2025 we will deprecate the "Create order always (do not check for inventory, and do not reduce inventory)" order processing setting, as orders created on Shopify will always reduce inventory.
