Customer action reports now available to all stores

You can now drill down into the actions that are tracked on your Customer Actions dashboard! Customer action reports reports give you enriched views of your store's activity data so that you can see which customers acted on which subscriptions--and when in their lifecycle they did so.

Each customer action report is enriched with data specific to the action taken. For example, the "Swaps" report includes information about both the original product that was swapped out, and the new product that was swapped in. Leveraging this data, you can answer critical questions like:

  • Who is skipping their order - and when?
  • Which products are most frequently swapped--and what are subscribers swapping to?
  • How far out are shoppers rescheduling their subscriptions?
  • Of the customers that skipped in previous months, what % have gone on to churn?

Currently tracked actions include:

  • Activate subscription
  • Reactivate subscription
  • Swap
  • Skip
  • Pause
  • Reschedule (orders)
  • Change frequency
  • Change quantity

You can access Customer Actions reports via individual action tiles on the Customer Actions dashboard, or from the Reports section under "Actions." For more information on these dashboard, please consult our help center.

Currency-specific pricing overrides for "Subscription" nodes in Automate

Currency-specific pricing overrides are now available in Automate's "Subscription (Add/Swap)" and "Subscription Update" nodes.

You can now set custom prices per presentment currency when adding, swapping, or updating subscriptions in Automate flows, giving you precise local pricing control. This setting is independent of your store's Shopify Markets configuration—if a currency doesn't have its own override, your default custom price will be converted into the local currency.

New Early Adopter Program - Digital Subscription Entitlements

Digital Subscription Entitlements is now available through our Early Adopter Program. Relevant to merchants who sell digital subscriptions or a mix of digital and physical products.

Most subscription apps have historically been optimized for physical, replenishable goods, forcing you to rely on custom integrations or manual processes to manage digital access. Entitlements automates access control by syncing access with subscription status and billing events (including dunning and recovery). This release also includes Entitlements APIs and a digital-first customer portal that removes physical-only actions and reduces onboarding complexity for digital-first and hybrid brands.

To get started, fill out our interest form.

For more information about how Recharge supports digital subscriptions, consult our help center.

Customer portal logins tracked on the Customer Actions dashboard

You can now view daily customer portal login activity on the Customer Actions dashboard.

The new "Customer portal login" metric gives you top-level insight into how many of your customers are visiting the portal, and whether portal visits are driving actions such as cancellations or skips.

The metric appears as a new tile on the Customer Actions dashboard, and can be filtered to separate customer portal vs. merchant portal logins. Additionally, login actions are also recorded in the Customer timeline; data are tracked globally starting January 14, 2026.

Flows Debug Tooling — Rewards Activity Tab & Debug Canvas

Flows Debug Tooling is now available for Rewards flows.

You can now open the Activity tab in Rewards to search for a specific customer, see which reward flows they entered, and open our Debug Canvas that shows how each node evaluated for that customer's run. This eliminates the need to dig through exports to understand who entered a flow and why, making troubleshooting and validation much faster.

Edit Live Flows in Automate with Flow Versioning

You can now edit live flows directly in Automate.

Previously, editing an active flow required duplicating it, making changes in the copy, and reactivating the new version, which created friction and version confusion. Now, you can make edits on the canvas, save changes to automatically generate a new version, and easily toggle between versions in the UI for clear version history and control. This removes barriers to making small updates and makes maintaining and iterating on your flows much easier.

See the how-to guide to get started.

New Early Adopter Program - Automatic Bundle Plans Sync

You no longer need to manually create matching selling plans for every product in a dynamic bundle! Available to merchants using use variant-level plans with Affinity or Unity.

With Automatic Bundle Plans syncing, you can now configure frequencies and discounts once at the bundle level and bundle-eligible products automatically inherit those selling plans. The inherited plans apply only to the bundle experience, and won’t appear on storefront product pages, so your customers can’t purchase individual items with bundle-specific plans. This works for both new and existing dynamic bundles.

Shopify Markets Support - Open Early Adopter Program

Shopify Markets Support has moved into Open EAP. Once you have set up Markets in Shopify, you can enable support in Recharge.

All Shopify stores can now enable Markets support in Recharge. This gives you the ability to onboard their stores onto Shopify Markets in Recharge via a self-service enablement flow.

Background:
Shopify Markets gives you more control over pricing and availability across regions, whether individual countries or groups of countries. With Markets, you can:
  • Set fixed prices by market
  • Apply manual exchange rates
  • Adjust prices by market using percentage-based increases or decreases
  • Use rounding rules
  • Control availability
  • Set sales tax rules
Once you have set up their Markets in Shopify, you can enable support in Recharge. This resolves market pricing and availability across areas like Affinity, Merchant Portal, Win backs, Automate, and generally any other part of the product that relies on product pricing and availability.

What's New:

1. Self-service Enablement Flow: you can now onboard onto Shopify Markets via our self-service enablement flow (see our documentation for instructions)
2. Unity Support: the Unity Customer Portal is now fully compatible with Shopify Markets.

Scheduled Quarterly Shipments Automate Template — New 'Processed charge date' Condition

The Scheduled Quarterly Shipments Automate template is now available for all stores, and includes a new “Processed charge date” condition to help you align recurring charges to a quarterly schedule.

This update makes it easier to configure flows that swap subscriptions and set charge dates based on the charge that triggered the flow, so your customers all receive the same seasonal box at the start of a quarter, regardless of when they signed up.

The existing “charge date” condition has been renamed “Next scheduled charge date” for clarity — there are no functional changes to that condition.

For more information about the Scheduled Quarterly Shipments template, consult our help center.
