New Quick Action: Add One-time product & apply discount

All Shopify merchants now have access to new Recharge quick action to include in their email flows and campaigns. Clicking a single URL automatically includes a pre-configured discount code while adding a one-time product to a customer’s upcoming order.

With this feature, you can

  • Incentivize your customers to add one-time products to their upcoming order at a discounted price
  • utilize our Klaviyo integration to create one-time product upsells in email flows and campaigns

Note: The one-time product would not need to be added to Recharge if it exists in your Shopify online store.

Increase efficiency with the Subscriptions list Actions dropdown

With a new Actions drop-down in the Subscriptions list, you’ll now have a streamlined way to update your subscriptions in one place. You can also make this same change for other subscriptions if more than one subscription is recognized on the same address.

Reduce operational costs and increase fulfillment efficiency by managing duplicate addresses

You’ll now be able to proactively prevent the creation of duplicate addresses during the checkout and be able to identify, merge and delete duplicate addresses for a subscriber later within the merchant portal. This will help reduce shipping costs and increase fulfillment efficiency as multiple separate shipments to the same address will be combined.

Configurable partial order fulfillment of out of stock products

All merchants using Recharge can now configure thresholds to partially process an order by removing the items that are not in stock.

If certain items are out of stock during charge processing, Recharge will modify the order by removing or adjusting the quantity. If the modified order meets all the following criteria, it will be processed.

  1. minimum number of items
  2. minimum order value
  3. pre-configured 'Required' products are present in the order

Improved ‘Retain shipping rates’ feature with configurable error handling for Shopify Checkout

All merchants using Recharge with Shopify Checkout Integration now have the ability to manage two new shipping configurations for subscriptions. Accessible directly within the merchant portal, merchants can now further tailor their shipping settings to match their business needs.

Merchants can now configure whether they want to

  1. Retain the original shipping rate from the checkout or dynamically recalculate shipping rates for future orders

  1. Process an order or display an error message, when a shipping rate is not found

New Klaviyo Metric! - 'Subscription paused in Recharge'

All merchants who have enabled the setting 'Pause as a retention step before cancel' now have access to a new Klaviyo metric - 'Subscription paused in Recharge'.

This metric, alongside the many other metrics and properties we send to Klaviyo, allows merchants to set up targeted email campaigns and flows, specifically designed for paused customers.

Create more custom experiences with passwordless login enhancements

With new enhancements to this feature, you can now enable and disable SMS and email channels separately as well as use communication template customization options. The Recharge login widget page can now be used as the default login experience for all your customers and they can have direct access to the customer portal from the post-checkout order status page.

This feature makes it easier for your customers to manage their subscription, reducing customer churn and customer support tickets.
