Follow-on offers for Post-purchase Cross-sells

We've released a new feature that allows you to add a follow-on offer to your Post-Purchase Cross-sell. This means that after the first cross-sell has been accepted or declined, you can entice your customers with an additional offer.



Some strategies we recommend with this feature are:

- Offer the same product with a steeper discount

- Offer a different product that complements their initial purchase

- Offer the same product they checked out with (increasing the quantity)

- Offer a gift card to the store at a discount

You can also use our new analytics table to assess the impact, and we've added the ability to copy and paste node configurations to make setup faster. Learn more now by taking a look at our help doc.

Smart select now available for Checkout Cross-sell

You can now use Smart select to cross-sell products at checkout. This feature intelligently recommends additional products based on the items already in the customer's cart, minimizing your setup time and increasing the chances of successful conversion.


Smart select is now available for all merchants using Checkout Cross-sell and can be selected during the flow creation process - please see our help docs for more information.

Post-purchase Cross-sell - General Release

Post-purchase Cross-sell allows you to encourage customers to add an additional product to their order post-checkout, either as a one-time or on a recurring basis, with time-sensitive offers that align with your brand and enhance the customer experience. Stores must be on Recharge Pro to use this feature. 


Post-purchase Cross-sell is a Subscription Experience that displays a relevant product for purchase after a customer completes their checkout order. Add a timer to increase urgency, and let customers know this offer isn’t always available. You also have the option to customize the post-purchase page to match your brand’s tone, ensuring a seamless experience for your customers. 

Access Post-purchase Cross-sell under Grow in the Recharge merchant portal and click Post-purchase. You can refer to Getting started with Post-purchase Cross-sell for more information.

Tiered Discounts for Dynamically-Priced Bundles - General Release

Our Tiered Discounts feature is available for all stores using Shopify Checkout.


Tiered Discounts allows you to provide a scaling discount as customers add more to their bundle. For example:

  • Purchase 2 items or more, get 5% off
  • Purchase 4 items or more, get 10% off
  • Purchase 6 items or more, get 15% off
  • Purchase 8 items or more, get 20% off
  • Purchase 10 items or more, get 25% off

You can create up to 10 unique discounts tiers.

Dynamically-priced bundles General Release

Dynamically-priced bundles are now available to all merchants using our Bundles feature.


Dynamically-priced bundles support variable product quantities and prices, so the total price is determined by the items selected by your customer. This affords you even more flexibility when building bundles, such as including products at different price points.

New Quick Action: Add a subscription and apply discount

All Shopify merchants now have access to new Recharge quick action to include in their email flows and campaigns. Clicking a single URL automatically adds a pre-configured subscription product to an existing subscriber’s upcoming order. Merchants also have the option to automatically apply a discount code.


With this feature, you can grow your AOV and LTV by
  • removing friction for existing subscribers interested in adding subscription products to their upcoming order
  • utilizing our Klaviyo integration to upsell subscription products as part of email-based promotional or retention strategies

Note: The one-time product would not need to be added to Recharge if it exists in your Shopify online store.
