New customer bulk update - "Update customers"

We've introduced a new bulk update, "Update customers" which enables you to easily correct customer data and set loyalty streak counts when migrating from another platform.


We’ve released a powerful update to our bulk update tool allowing you to: 
  • Set customer streak counts to match loyalty history from a previous platform
  • Update customer attributes like name, email, and phone number in bulk
  • Enable faster migrations and cleaner data without internal team intervention

New Early Adopter Program - Subscription Management via Concierge SMS

Customers can now manage their subscriptions via AI-powered SMS, allowing them to make changes and receive updates through simple, conversational texts. The new Message History section on the customer page lets merchants view inbound and outbound messages, while analytics help track engagement and outcomes.


Available for all Shopify stores on any Recharge plan (Starter, Pro, or Custom).

Loyalty Columns Added to Customer Exports

We’ve added three new columns to customer exports, enabling you to quickly report on customers' uncancelled charge streaks, lifetime value, and credits balance.


You can now include three optional loyalty-focused columns in customer exports:
  • Streak of Uncancelled Charges: Total number of subscription charges successfully processed without customer cancellation. Streak of uncancelled charges are also referred to ask streak counts.
  • Lifetime Value (in store's default currency): Total customer subscription spend, including taxes and shipping.
  • Credits Balance: Current available credit balance per customer.

Bulk delete products from Dynamically-priced bundle subscriptions

You can now easily bulk remove specific products from active dynamically-priced bundle subscriptions using the Bulk Updates Tool — no API required!


This new bulk update enables you to:

  • Remove out-of-stock products to prevent charge errors
  • Phase out discontinued items without manual updates
  • Keep bundles up to date for smooth order processing

New and Improved Subscription Widget Now Available for All Shopify Stores

The new Subscription Widget is now accessible to all Shopify merchants, bringing an improved subscription experience directly within Recharge. All stores now have access to the Subscription Widget along with base analytics to track performance.


If you were previously using our Subscription Widget, you may have noticed a major change—the settings for this feature are now located in Recharge instead of Shopify. This shift allows us to introduce more features in the future and provide deeper insights into your widget’s performance.

Pro and Custom stores gain additional benefits, including A/B testing for optimizing conversions and more detailed analytics for deeper insights.

The 'Duplicate' flow action has moved locations

The 'Duplicate' flow action has moved from the flow list view to directly in your flow canvas. You can now duplicate existing flows without navigating back to your flow list. 


The ability to duplicate a flow allows you to iterate quickly by making minor tweaks and adjust existing strategies. With this update, when you duplicate a flow, you are immediately redirected to the new canvas. See Manage flows for the updated directions to duplicate your existing flows.

The Exports Creation page has been redesigned and is now available for all stores! This update improves data exporting by making it faster, customizable, and more reliable.

Segments are available for all stores with the Recharge Pro or Custom plans

Stores on a Pro or Custom plan can now leverage segments to create targeted customer experiences based on segment membership, and to evaluate the performance of any customer segment across our analytics dashboards.


Customer segmentation lets you group customers based on common characteristics such as demographics, history, or behaviors, allowing you to target specific customer cohorts.

Improved Email Deliverability for Unauthenticated Stores

Notification emails from unauthenticated domains will now be sent from no-reply@rechargeapps.com, improving reliability and reducing the risk of emails being flagged as spam.


As email providers tighten spam filter rules, unauthenticated domains face higher risks of email delivery issues. This update ensures emails are more likely to reach customer inboxes, especially during critical periods like the holiday season.

For unauthenticated domains, the sender address now defaults to no-reply@rechargeapps.com and you will see a homepage banner encouraging domain authentication and warnings on the Notification edit page for unauthenticated emails.

Refreshed Account Page Designs & New Account-level Role Identification

We've updated the design of our Accounts pages to include more helpful information for merchants, and added the ability for users to self-identify their role information. Merchant users will soon be prompted for their role information when they log in to their store.


The refreshed Accounts page now supports some new key features:
  • Last login date- Shows the last date in which a specific merchant user has accessed the Recharge merchant portal
    • Seen on both the Account list page and the specific account details page
    • We began tracking this data on August 8. If you see this date showing blank, then the user in question has not logged in since then.

  • Role Identification fields- Provides inputs for merchant users to tell us more about the accounts accessing their store. Users will automatically be prompted to fill in this data when editing an account record. Information requested includes the user's role, department, and how the user is associated with the store.
