A simpler way to bulk update subscriptions

We're excited to announce a fast & streamlined way to bulk update subscriptions that eliminates manipulating  spreadsheets and time lost in searching for subscriptions that need changes.


Bulk update subscriptions without manually exporting and manipulating CSVs

We’ve made it easier to update subscriptions at scale by removing one of the biggest sources of friction: spreadsheets.

You can now bulk update subscriptions directly in-product—no CSV exports, uploads, or manual validation required. Using search and filters, you can quickly pinpoint the exact subscriptions you want to change, then take action in a single workflow. Supported actions include rescheduling the next charge date, canceling, reactivating, deleting, updating price, or swapping products.

Before applying changes, you can preview exactly what will happen, or process updates immediately. This reduces the number of steps required to make bulk changes with a more direct, controlled experience—helping teams move faster with less overhead.

Edit Live Flows in Automate with Flow Versioning

You can now edit live flows directly in Automate. 



Previously, editing an active flow required duplicating it, making changes in the copy, and reactivating the new version, which created friction and version confusion. Now, you can make edits on the canvas, save changes to automatically generate a new version, and easily toggle between versions in the UI for clear version history and control. This removes barriers to making small updates and makes maintaining and iterating on your flows much easier.

New Early Adopter Program - Automatic Bundle Plans Sync

You no longer need to manually create matching selling plans for every product in a dynamic bundle! Available to merchants using use variant-level plans with Affinity or Unity. 



With Automatic Bundle Plans syncing, you can now configure frequencies and discounts once at the bundle level and bundle-eligible products automatically inherit those selling plans. The inherited plans apply only to the bundle experience, and won’t appear on storefront product pages, so your customers can’t purchase individual items with bundle-specific plans. This works for both new and existing dynamic bundles.

Scheduled Quarterly Shipments Automate Template — New 'Processed charge date' Condition

The Scheduled Quarterly Shipments Automate template is now available for all stores, and includes a new “Processed charge date” condition to help you align recurring charges to a quarterly schedule. 



This update makes it easier to configure flows that swap subscriptions and set charge dates based on the charge that triggered the flow, so your customers all receive the same seasonal box at the start of a quarter, regardless of when they signed up. 

The existing “charge date” condition has been renamed “Next scheduled charge date” for clarity — there are no functional changes to that condition.

The Customer Details page has been expanded to include several valuable data points about your customers!



The new page now includes:

  • Subscription history metrics, including: "Subscription Spend", "Subscription Orders", and "Streak Count"
  • The Segments a customer currently belongs to 
  • The Shopify tags associated with this customer's record in Shopify

New Early Adopter Program - AI Report emails

AI Report emails are now available via our Early Adopter Program, and can be enabled by any Shopify store.


AI Reports deliver AI-composed monthly summaries that distill multiple analytics dashboards into concise insights and prioritized recommendations, so you spend less time compiling reports and more time acting on what matters. 

Available Reports:
  • Sales & subscribers report: Provides an executive summary of top-line subscription program performance, including subscriber growth, subscriber churn, and subscription sales & revenue. Compares monthly performance with historical performance, as well as industry benchmarks. Provides recommendations based on the areas of greatest potential improvement.
  • Payment errors & recovery report: Summarizes payment error and recovery activity for the month. Identifies and analyzes error spikes and trends within the period. Provides recommendations on ways to improve recovery efforts.

Email preference management: All Shopify stores can now manage their preferences for who should receive which AI emails from within the Email section, on the "Store owner" tab. Track credit usage and trends with the Credit Performance Dashboard

Gain deeper credit usage insights with the Credit Performance Dashboard. This dashboard is now available to all Shopify stores with active Rewards flows. This enhanced dashboard goes beyond high-level metrics, providing you with visibility into how, when, and where customers apply their credits. 


Previously, there was not a way to tell when credits were used, where they were applied, or how they impacted customer behavior. This dashboard fills that gap, equipping your team with the insights needed to refine strategies, boost engagement, and drive retention.

In addition to core ledger metrics, this dashboard now surfaces customer usage patterns, such as time from issuance to redemption, and the AOV of credited orders. It also reveals where credits are being applied whether at checkout, through Cancellation prevention flows, Win back campaigns, or the customer portal. 

Access this dashboard in your merchant portal by navigating to the Loyalty dropdown, selecting Rewards, and clicking Credit performance.

New Affinity Extension: Cancel Subscriptions Directly from the Overview Page

Merchants using our Affinity customer portal can now add a "Cancel Subscription" link directly to the navigation sidebar on the overview page.


Why this matters:
Customers previously had to dig into the subscription details page and scroll to the bottom to find the cancel option. This caused frustration and support tickets.

With this extension:
  • A Cancel subscription link can be added to the Overview page.
  • All active subscriptions are listed, even the ones NOT included in the next order.
  • If the customer has one subscription, it redirects them to the cancellation prevention page.
  • If they have multiple, a clean modal lets them pick which one to cancel (once picked, they are redirected to the cancellation prevention page)

New Automate Conditions: Country, Zip Code, and Segment

We’ve just added three powerful new branch conditions to Automate: Country, Zip Code, and Segment. These give you more control and flexibility than ever before when tailoring your Automate flows.

Here are just a few ways you can use them:

Zip Code and Country:
→ Schedule seasonal products swaps for customers in specific climates.
→ Swap or add a product that is available in a specific country - customize based on your inventory locations.
→ Add location-specific products that will appeal to that audience.

Segment:
→ Surprise your Gold-tier customers with one-time gifts or special add-ons.
→ Swap to a different product based on the segment your customer is in.


These enhancements make Automate more adaptable to your customer base - helping you improve the customer experience and reduce churn.
