Backup Payment Methods is a feature designed to reduce failed charges and recover revenue automatically. When a customer’s primary payment method fails, Recharge automatically attempts to charge their other saved payment methods. No manual intervention needed!

This feature helps merchants reduce passive churn and increase retention by automatically retrying failed charges using backup payment methods already on file, boosting recovery rates without lifting a finger.
